Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels – Request for Grey Squirrel Control Records

Estates involved with the control of grey squirrels for the SSRS project under the SRDP scheme are being asked to submit all 2016 trapping records to their local Forestry Commission office by the end of January in order to ensure payment under the scheme is made on time.

 Trapping records are essential in allowing the project to continually assess the impact grey squirrel control is having on protecting the red squirrel allowing it to adjust efforts where necessary.
