Tourism Cross Party

The tourism cross party group met on Wednesday evening and welcomed Ian Milton to present an update on the 2017 non-domestic rates revaluation in relation to the tourism industry. The evening resulted in heated debate about the impact the revaluation would have on tourism businesses such as accommodation providers and licenced premises. There was a call for all stakeholders and businesses that are concerned by their draft valuations to lobby their local MSPs and theCulture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Parliamentary committee members.
