Argyll and Bute Council - Local Housing Strategy 2016/17 to 2021/22

The purpose of the Argyll & But Local Housing Stratetgy 2016/17-2021/22 (LHS) is to set out the key housing issues and priorities in Argyll & Bute across all areas and tenures, and to identify how the Council and its partners will address these issues over the next five years. The LHS is a key strategic document for the Council and will influence how resources are allocated and spent on housing and housing services in the area.

The LHS has been developed in consultation with partner agencies and through wider stakeholder engagement and is designed to reflect the views and needs of local residents and communities. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in this process for their invaluable contribution. Progress against the action plan and strategic outcomes will be monitored and reported on an annual basis.

I would encourage you to provide feedback on the LHS, which will help us to improve and develop future updates to ensure that it not only addresses immediate housing issues but also makes the maximum contribution to our wider corporate and community planning partnership priorities.

To provide feedback or for further information regarding any aspect of the strategy please contact the LHS Team:
