STA survey on non-domestic rates

The Scottish Tourism Alliance issued a call for evidence, asking people within the tourism sector to respond to share their stories about the non-domestic rates revaluation. The organisation is concerned that some 2,500 organisations will be significantly affected by the rates revaluation and  asked those with concerns to complete this survey (now closed) in order to help STA inform the Scottish Government.

STA is due to meet with Derek Makay, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Constitution, later this month (22nd Feb) to discuss the issue. The organisation has also written to the Convener of the Culture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Committee in the Scottish Parliament requesting an they be invited to present evidence gathered.
