Proposal for a Galloway National Park

The Galloway National Park Association are leading on a proposal for the development of a Galloway National Park. Several options are currently being explored by the Association as to what the proposed model might be. Scottish Land & Estates are in communication with the group and we will keep members informed once further details of the proposal are released.

A stakeholder meeting is envisaged to take place later this year to give members the opportunity to hear more about the detail of the proposal and the pros and cons of being part of a National Park. In addition the meeting will provide an opportunity for members to ask any questions whilst also providing an early indication on how members feel about the proposal. Further details will be available soon.
