South Lanarkshire LAF Representative

South Lanarkshire’s Local Access Forum is looking to recruit for a new member to represent landowner’s interests. The Forum, established under the provisions of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, is responsible for providing advice to South Lanarkshire Council, the access authority, on matters relating to the provision, management and promotion of non-motorised public outdoor access on land and inland water.

The Forum meets, 3 to 4 times a year at Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton. Meetings last approximately 3 hours and refreshments and lunch are provided.
