Suicide prevention in Scotland

NHS Health Scotland, Samaritans in Scotland, Health and Social Care Academy (the ALLIANCE), and the Scottish Government want to hear views on suicide prevention in Scotland. These organisations would like to hear from those affected by suicide and those who directly engage with those affected to understand what could be done to better or differently reduce suicide and the impact it has on people, families and communities in Scotland.

The events will influence the development of the Scottish Government’s next Suicide Prevention Action Plan, due to be published in spring 2018.

The events will take place:
Albany Centre, Glasgow, 30 October 2017, 1230-0330pm
Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries, 1 November 2017, 0530-0830pm
St. Mary’s Centre, Inverurie, 7 November 2017, 1200-0330pm
