A96 Dualling Hardmuir to Fochabers drop-in sessions

As part of ongoing community engagement for the scheme, design update drop-in sessions are being held in February and March 2018 in Elgin, Forres and Fochabers. The purpose of these events is to provide an update on the progress that has been made to develop the route options presented in June 2017, and to give public and other interested parties the opportunity to view and comment on the developing route options.
It is expected that the preferred option for the scheme will be selected later in 2018. Public exhibitions will be held once this has been completed and Transport Scotland will advertise in due course.
Drop-in sessions are as follows:
  • Tuesday 27 February, 12noon – 7pm Elgin Town Hall, 1 Trinity Place, Elgin, IV30 1UL
  • Wednesday 28 February, 12noon – 7pm The Mansefield Hotel, 2 Mayne Road, Elgin, IV30 1NY
  • Thursday 1 March, 12noon – 7pm Forres Town Hall, High Street, Forres, IV36 1PB
  • Friday 2 March, 12noon – 7pm Fochabers Public Institute, 15 High Street, Fochabers, IV32 7EP
Details of the A96 Dualling Hardmuir to Fochabers scheme can be found here. The information being provided at the drop-in sessions will also be made available on the website from 27 February 2018.
