Publication of Transitions to agroecological systems: farmers’ experience Report

SNH, with other agencies in the Land Use Policy Group (LUPG)*, has published a report on farmers’ experiences of transition to agroecological approaches. The Organic Research Centre undertook the work with the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.

The researchers sought to address the question of how farmers experience their own personal transition from conventional agriculture to the adoption of agroecological farm practices and systems. The farmers described the motives and events that prompted them to engage with a transition to agroecology, the challenges they experienced and the opportunities they seized.

The report is available on SNH’s website here...
