Lindsay joined Scottish Land and Estates in January 2021 after previously working for Strutt & Parker as a Graduate Land Agent in their Banchory and Canterbury offices. During his time at Strutt & Parker, Lindsay helped research and implement diversification projects for clients’ estates, as well as managing rural residential property portfolios.
Prior to this, Lindsay obtained his MSc in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural University, where he wrote his dissertation on the effectiveness of CARES in helping to establish hydroelectric schemes in rural Scottish communities.
If you were a Scottish animal, which would you be and why?
A mountain hare. I tend to go very pale in the winter and love being in the mountains.
What do few people know about you?
I didn’t move to Scotland until I was six, after living in Australia and Botswana.
Which three words best describe your outlook on life?
Outdoors is best.
Where would you live if not Scotland?
Probably the west coast of Canada. British Columbia is a great place to explore!
