Fiona joined SLE as North East Regional Manager in July 2025.
She was bought up in Perthshire and moved to rural Aberdeenshire in 1996.
She began her career with Grampian Police in 1997. Over the course of more than 28 years in policing, primarily in rural areas, she spent nine years as a dog handler. During this time, she qualified as a Home Office licensed police dog instructor, taking responsibility for the training and licensing of police dogs across various disciplines.
For her final seven years in policing she has served as a firearms licensing enquiry officer earning respect and recognition, particularly throughout the Deeside area.
She has lived on sporting estates since 1996 and has always been deeply passionate about rural life and supporting the communities within it.
Fiona enjoys a busy and active life, including many outdoor pursuits. She values spending time with family and friends, is an enthusiastic gardener and remains actively involved in training working gun dogs.
