Megan Ritchie joined Scottish Land & Estates in July 2025. Although not born in Australia, she grew up there before moving to Edinburgh to pursue her studies and recently completed a master’s degree in Publishing at the University of Stirling. Her thesis focused on digital sustainability in the Scottish publishing sector. Megan is enjoying the opportunity to apply her academic knowledge to her role at SLE.
Before joining SLE, Megan gained diverse experience in the publishing industry, working with organisations such as Bloody Scotland, Bright Red Publishing, and Stryvling Press. She also held various roles in the sports and leisure sector.
As our Communications Assistant, Megan supports the communications team by assisting with the production, editorial, and designing content for social media, eNews, and Land Business.
In her spare time, Megan takes on freelance publishing projects and enjoys reading, exploring new coffee shops, and rock climbing.
