Sara joined the Scottish Land and Estates team in March 2026 as Events and Membership Services Co-ordinator, and is based in Edinburgh. Originally from Glenrothes in Fife, she spent much of her childhood roaming the Lomond Hills.
Before joining Scottish Land and Estates, Sara worked in conference and events within a busy hotel environment, overseeing event delivery and day-to-day operations for a wide range of events. She has also held roles across hospitality and tourism, alongside a creative background spanning music, photography and live events, and holds a degree in music from the University of Edinburgh.
Outside of work, Sara has competed in a range of sports, most recently powerlifting. She enjoys hiking and travelling around Scotland and North Wales (usually in questionable weather).
