SLE at the Royal Highland Show 2022
At the end of last week, we were thrilled to once again be able to attend the Royal Highland Show. After an absence of two years, we were eager to get back to the showgrounds, to speak with members, and to meet some new faces too.
We commenced our first day with the launch of the updated version of our #Route2050 publication. #Route2050 ‘On Track for Rural Scotland’ contains immediate asks during the transition period to 2025 and an outline of what rural support could look like beyond 2025.
The Minister for Environment and Land Reform, Màiri McAllan, joined us for a joint event with the Integrating Trees Network, and we were also excited to see a number of high-profile visitors over the course of the show’s run as well.
Thank you to representatives from Network Rail who we were delighted to host on our stand for the duration of the Highland Show.
