Join us at Houston Farms to explore the development of the estate.

Throughout the morning, we'll look at a few of the recent changes to the estate and consider how they have positively impacted the local community, including:

  • a visit to the old gate lodge, now a busy optician close to the doctor’s surgery and pharmacy, which are also located in estate buildings - and how this came to be;
  • a view of the forestry outlook on the estate and the current projects being undertaken, alongside the conservation of woodcock and the eucalyptus trees;
  • a tour of the newly renovated estate office and surrounding buildings, which were returned, following the end of an agricultural tenancy, in dilapidated condition, and which now host many local businesses, helping the community to thrive.

We will hear from:

  • Mark, the Managing Partner of Houston Farms
  • Shaun Mochan, Managing Director of Woodilee Consultancy, covering the forestry side of the business
  • Richard Haggart, Senior Associate of Galbraith’s, who has been managing Houston Farms since 2022.

Our tour will end at the estate office with a light lunch and time to network, kindly sponsored by Galbraith’s.

We look forward to seeing you there!
