Invasive species such as Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed can cause havoc for landowners, some can be destructive and adversely affect human and animal health, as well as rendering land unsaleable. By law, you must ensure that any non-native plants growing on your land don’t spread into the wild.

Join us for this informative roundtable meeting, which includes industry expert and SLE trade member, Rob Spiers from JBB Knotweed Solutions and James Wyllie from East Lothian Countryside Volunteers.  The East Lothian Countryside Volunteers was one of our 2020 ‘Helping it Happen’ Award winners for running  the Giant Hogweed eradication programme on the East Lothian River Tyne. We will also be joined by SLE’s Policy Advisor Karen Ramoo for an informal discussion on the subject, which will include some practical tips on dealing with invasive species and case studies highlighting work that has already taken place.

There will also be an opportunity to ask our experts your questions.

Places are limited to 20, so please secure your place as soon as possible and by 5 February 2021.
