Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s North East Members’ Regional Reception which will be held at Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmeldrum, Inverurie at 13:30 on Tuesday 4 November, 2025.
The Regional Receptions are your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. SLE Chairman Dee Ward and Chief Executive, Sarah-Jane Laing, will present an organisational and political update; and SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young, will run us through the policy updates of the past year. At this year's event we'll also be exploring Innovative Models for Future Farming and we'll hear from James Begg, Partner with Allathan Associates, and new entrant Aberdeenshire farmer, Duncan Morrison.

These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
