Our members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s North East Members’ Regional Reception, to be held at The Barn, Burn O’Bennie Road, Banchory, AB31 5QA, registration from 13:45 on Tuesday 31 October 2023.
The theme of this year’s event is Opportunities for the Future – Tourism and Food & Drink. We are delighted to announce that our speakers will be Peter Cook, Director of Food, Drink and Agriculture at Opportunity North East and Laura Delaney, Head of Communications at Visit Aberdeenshire.
This is also your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. We’ll have an organisational and political update from SLE Chairman Dee Ward and our Chief Executive Sarah-Jane Laing; also, a policy update from SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young.
There will be a Q&A, providing plenty of opportunity for animated discussion and debate with fellow SLE members and colleagues.
This event provides an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, North East Regional Chair David Fyffe, committee members, and your Regional Manager, Tim Eagle.
