In response to the Scottish Borders Council consulting on a proposed Borders National Park, SLE is offering members the opportunity to learn more about the proposal and to hear from a panel of speakers, the benefits and challenges a National Park could provide to the region. We would like to encourage all members in the Borders to attend the meeting, which will also help inform SLE’s response to the Scottish
Borders Council Main Issues Report. The details for the meeting are:

Confirmed speakers: Jane Bower (Borders National Park Campaign Group), Jamie Williamson (SLE member within the Cairngorms National Park), Thomas MacDonell (SLE member within the Cairngorms National Park). A Q&A session will be held after the speaking slots.
