Show season is here again and we’re looking forward to catching up with as many members as possible over the summer months!
In addition to the specific events and receptions detailed below, all members are welcome to join us for a drink and a chat on the stand at any time. Whether it’s in Edinburgh or Scone, the Borders or the Black Isle, please come along and say hello. We’d love to see you!
Come and find us in our usual location on 4th Avenue. The entire SLE team will be attending over the course of the show and we’re all very much looking forward to welcoming you. Policy and regional teams will be on hand if there's anything you’d like to discuss with them and we also expect to be joined by many of the latest intake of Scottish parliamentarians over the course of Thursday and Friday.
Over the four days of the show we will be joined by our headline sponsor Network Rail, and sponsors OnPath Energy and Scottish Forestry, along with stand partners Landmark Systems, Lycetts and SLE Energy Services. We will also be joined by Scottish Field, with thanks to The Exiteers for providing the Pimms.
What's Happening on the SLE Stand?
Thursday 18th June
9am-10:30am Opening Day Breakfast Reception Sponsored by SLE Energy Services
Join us for a bacon roll and coffee, and a chat with our policy team. We’ll also be joined by Rob Black, Tenant Farming Commissioner, and Peter MacDougall, Tenant Farming Manager 9:30am-10:30am, who will be on stand to meet any members who wish to talk to them.
11:30am-2:30pm SLE Members’ Reception with address from headline sponsor Network Rail and SLE Chairman Patrick Colquhoun.
All welcome. Join us for canapés and refreshments and the chance to speak to the SLE Chairman, Board Directors and staff.
Friday 19th June
9.30am-10:30am Business Breakfast sponsored by OnPath Energy.
We will be launching our latest policy document on growing the rural economy through Scotland’s food and drink sector. We’ll hear from OnPath Energy CEO Richard Dunkley as he outlines the future of energy security, exploring the economic opportunities and challenges this presents for Scotland and the wider UK.
1:30pm-3:30pm Forestry Reception
Join us for canapés and refreshments at an informal reception with Scottish Forestry and the award‑winning Integrating Trees Network at the Scottish Land & Estates marquee, to explore how trees can help your business now and in the future.
