South East Regional Reception

Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s South East Members’ Regional Reception which will be held at Rosebery Steading, near Gorebridge, Midlothian at 4.30pm on Tuesday 12 November, 2024.

The theme for this year is Business Diversification. We are delighted to hear from James Bowie, Partner at Galbraith and Factor at Rosebery Estates on the business diversification projects that are taking place on the Estate, as well as highlighting the opportunities, risks and drivers for businesses to undertake diversification. Jo Kemp, Sales and Event Manager at Rosebery Venues will speak about the amazing venue offering that Rosebery Estates provides, and finally Martin Rennie, Agricultural Consultant and Director at Galbraith will provide an update on agricultural diversification.

The Regional Receptions are also your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. We’ll have an organisational and political update from SLE Chairman Dee Ward and our CEO Sarah-Jane Laing; also, a policy update from SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young.

These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
