Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s South West Members’ Regional Reception, hosted by Buccleuch Estates, which will be held at Drumlanrig Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries & Galloway at 4.00pm on Thursday 14 November, 2024.
We are delighted to welcome two guest speakers from our event sponsor, Turcan Connell. We will hear from Grierson Dunlop (Partner) who will give us an update on Land Reform, and
Richard Douglas-Home (Partner) who will give us a Topical Tax Update following the UK Autumn Budget announcement.

The Regional Receptions are also your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. We’ll have an organisational and political update from SLE Chairman Dee Ward and our CEO Sarah-Jane Laing; also, a policy update from SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young.
These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
