Venue: The Hirsel Country Park, Coldstream, Berwickshire, TD12 4LW

Members can visit the Hirsel Estate – winner of the Education Award at SLE’s Helping it Happen Award ceremony in 2018.  We plan to visit Field to Fork, based at the Hirsel Estate, Coldstream on Friday 3 May, which uses a hands-on approach to help connect children to where their food comes from, taking them outdoors to explore, experience and enjoy the countryside.

10.35-11.00 Introduction and briefing on Field to Fork by Sally Fleming and hear about their challenges and achievements

11.00-12.15 Tour round the Hirsel Estate, visit the Highland Cows, Grounds, Arts & Crafts Centre and the Museum

12.15-13.15 Networking Lunch
