With the Scottish Government aiming to increase forest cover over the next few decades, this is your chance to see long-term, integrated woodland and forest management in action, as well as the processing of timber afterwards to produce a high-quality product. You will learn more about managing trees and timber, see the new Logie sawmill and steading and hear the owners speak about both running the estate and succession planning.

The event is kindly hosted by Alec and Jo Laing and will run from 10am until 1pm. There is no fee to members and participants will be able to buy lunch from the Café at the Logie Steading afterwards.
