Home Energy Scotland will be joined in this webinar by Energy Systems Scotland who will expand on the practicalities of installation.  Energy Systems Scotland is an innovative renewable energy company that specialises in clean, green energy technology and solutions. Their team provides agricultural, commercial and domestic projects with expert advice on the installation and maintenance of renewable technologies. Through some illustrative case studies they will talk about renewable heating system choices including the additional hardware that should be taken into account, give examples of what final costs can look like, and talk a bit about maintenance and servicing costs.

 

Presenters:

Jamie Seabridge-Cooper, Technical Advisor - Private Sector and Renewables Specialist: Through technical guidance and legislative support, Jamie supports landlords to make Private Rental properties more energy efficient. Jamie is a certified Domestic Energy Assessor, meaning he is able to discuss EPCs in detail. He is also an expert in funding options available to landlords and can provide an in depth assessments of their properties.

Gordon Spowage, Technical and Outreach Manager: Gordon leads a team of 3 Technical Officers and a Technical Advisor, Jamie. His Technical Officers specialise in traditional buildings and in renewable technologies. Through specialist advice, home visits and tailored reports, householders are supported when looking for advice in these areas. Gordon is also a Domestic Energy Assessor while also being certified as a Retrofit Assessor, allowing him to provide advice and guidance on matters pertaining to PAS2035 standards.
