WES Forum Webinar: Soil Carbon Baselining and Standards

For our second WES Forum discussion of the year and following on from our Walk and Talk at Southannan, we will hear from Professor Mark Reed who has been instrumental in the designing the minimum requirements for soil carbon markets and is one of two lead authors on the BSI soil carbon standard which is currently being written. As someone at the heart of designing the standard which will drive markets, Mark will take us through anticipated requirements to meet the standard and can answer questions about the validity of existing baselining and monitoring approaches.  We will also hear from Agricarbon which use a methodology widely touted as being compliant with the requirements of the future standard. They will take members through how their approach and the reports produced can inform land management to improve soil carbon stocks and demonstrate uplift. 

There will be plenty of time to pick the brains of these experts about baselining and all things soil carbon.
