Speakers
Conrad Young is an experienced sustainability expert specializing in biodiversity and regenerative agriculture. He has worked in food supply sustainability since 2010, driving innovations in resource efficiency, sustainable packaging, and nature-based solutions. Previously, he led major industry initiatives, including the Tesco Supplier Buying Club and Asda Sustain and Save Exchange. A passionate birder, he founded Chirrup.ai in 2022, which uses birdsong as a science-based biodiversity indicator for farm monitoring.
Mhairi Cameron joined the Chirrup.ai team in 2024, bringing a practical knowledge of farming combined with academic expertise. Raised on a hill sheep farm, she spent 20 years working as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK, Europe and Asia. She gained a PGDip in One Health from the University of Edinburgh, developing her interest in how environmental health interacts with human and animal health. She is passionate about biodiversity and regenerative agriculture and its wide-ranging benefits.
