A unique and free networking event at the Scottish Game Fair. Free to attend for all Scotch Whisky Association members and members of Scottish Land & Estates.
Scotch whisky has a strong relationship with the land from which it is produced. The unique landscape of Scotland, including the soil, climate, and water, all contribute to the distinct flavour and character of Scotch whisky. Beyond the economies of Whisky making, distilleries are often landowners themselves the land and whisky inexorably linked since time began.
Set in the incredible surroundings of Scone Palace, this unique networking event hosted as part of the Scottish Game Fair, will celebrate that relationship, explore new opportunities for partnerships, enable learning from each other and with keynote speeches, whisky tasting and canapes from Nick Nairn. What’s not to like?
We will hear from expert speakers from either end of the journey from the land to the bottle. Exploring sustainable practices in modern land management, how we can make the most of the natural assets of Scotland while protecting the environment, enhancing biodiversity, working with communities and stepping up to the challenges of land management in the face of the climate crisis.
