Wildlife Estates Scotland (WES) is delighted to announce that the 2025 Wildlife Estates Scotland Annual Assembly is being held at Hopetoun House on Wednesday 2 April.
Headline sponsored by Virgin Money, this assembly is an invaluable opportunity for current members to come together to network, learn about the lived experience of other members and to listen to a range of excellent speakers. Caledonian Climate, Savills, NatureScot and Food Integrity Assurance are also sponsoring this year, and we will be joined by experts from all. Hopetoun House is a wonderful venue on an estate that is itself WES Level 2 accredited.
Themes and topics that will be covered include:
- WES update: 2025 and beyond
- Panel discussion on Other Effective (area based) Conservation Measures (OECMs) in depth
- WES member spotlights on:
* Data acquisition and collection
* Peatland restoration
* Clusters and landscape scale management
For the first time, a limited number of tickets to the assembly are available to the wider SLE membership. If you have heard about WES and wish to gain a real insight into the lived experience of our members, this assembly is the perfect opportunity to do so.
NB: This event is for landowning members only.
