There are two main services to choose from with two delivery options: Boxes, premade boxes of organic produce which can be delivered weekly or fortnightly; and Shop (baskets), where you can choose exactly what you want from the shop.
We grow a vast amount of healthy organic crops on our beautiful farm just to the East of Edinburgh. We sell our produce mostly through our box Scheme, ECOBOX. The boxes are delivered within a 30-mile radius and our three main delivery vans are pure electric so zero pollution. These were bought with the help of The Energy Saving Trust and free charging thanks to Transport Scotland. We are committed to not just growing and supplying the healthiest produce possible but also delivering it without producing any harmful emissions. Our deliveries are incredibly efficient as we deliver loads of boxes to specific areas at a time, similar to a milk round. All our deliveries are within 30 miles of the farm, reducing our carbon footprint even further.
We now have two farms. The first is our original 10 acre market garden near Pencaitland where we started some 20 years ago. Here we still grow lots of early crops, raise our seedlings, pack the produce and have our office. The second is our 110 acre farm near Haddington, which is where we do most of the growing now. We have orchards, polytunnels, hens for eggs, sheep, cows, pigs and even alpacas. We have a natural spring with a pond, a stream and newly planted woodland and hedges. Both farms are registered organic with the Biodynamic Agricultural Association.
Our mission has always been to grow and supply fresh organic produce so that it is more affordable to everyone. Cutting out the middleman trail means our produce is normally around 30% less than major supermarkets.(see our price comparison section). We are very lucky as first generation farmers to have had such support from customer friends over the years. Some of which have been with us since we started 20 years ago.
