Originating in Dumfries & Galloway and now covering a wider area, The Food Train's aim is to help elderly people who are unable to support themselves independently due to age, illness or disability.
Over the past 25 years they have made over 445,000 deliveries of food to the elderly as well as helping out with household chores, providing library books and friendly conversations.
