The River Bothy tearooms was opened in May 2017 after extensive refurbishment of a building which had been unoccupied for forty years.
Subsequently it has been extended (extension opened June 2019) to include the neighbouring Laundry building which has been sympathetically renovated and restored, retaining all original features.
The Welbeck Estates are managed by myself, Anson MacAuslan and our business occupier Fiona Polson pays us a rent and runs the business independently. She is open 10 months of the year and employs a number of staff on a full and part time basis. It has proven extremely popular with the local community and tourists alike.
