Webinar - The RHI: Maintaining Compliance and Resolving Issues

Accredited Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) schemes must meet ongoing obligations to retain subsidy payments.  These requirements fall at different intervals - including quarterly, annually and at the 10-year point. With many systems now reaching or exceeding 10 years of operation, Ofgem is increasingly using remote and on-site audits to confirm compliance and enforcement action is becoming increasingly common where obligations have not been met.

This practical webinar is for anyone who owns, manages or advises on RHI-accredited systems. It will help you assess whether your schemes remain compliant, understand what to expect from an Ofgem audit, prepare an effective response, and make permitted changes to an application to maintain compliance or address emerging issues or opportunities.

The session is delivered by Reheat’s Neil Harrison, Director, and Melissa Rowell, Head of Compliance, who bring 30 years of combined experience supporting organisations and individuals throughout the RHI lifecycle.

Neil Harrison has extensive experience developing biomass projects and advising on renewable heat policy and standards while Melissa Rowell has helped hundreds of organisations and individuals apply for the RHI, meet ongoing obligations, and resolve compliance issues.

• New accreditation requirements for biomass servicing, including HETAS HABMS
• Updating details on your original RHI application
• Purchasing and using Biomass Suppliers List (BSL)-certified woodfuel from third parties
• Producing and supplying BSL-certified woodfuel for self-use or third-party distribution
• Responding to suspended or frozen payments
• Participating in the second-hand RHI market
