Based in the Scottish Borders, Connected Landscapes undertakes landscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals for all types of development across Scotland and the north of England: residential developments from single dwellings to large multiple-unit sites; agricultural diversification and forestry; large-scale agricultural/industrial/commercial buildings; renewable energy; quarries and waste management. I can provide GIS mapping to accompany LVIAs and appraisals, as well as photomontages/ visualisations for proposed developments. I also undertake landscape design work for all types of site: landscape mitigation measures for residential, commercial, renewable energy, mineral and waste developments; and landscape design for residential and commercial/industrial developments, public open spaces, and parks/parkland. I work with private individuals, farms and estates, and commercial developers, as well as architects and planning consultants. With over 25 years’ experience across landscape architecture, land management and forestry, I will work with you to give your project the best possible chance of gaining planning permission.
