Coalition launches crowd fund campaign for judicial review

A coalition, comprising Scottish Land & Estates, Scottish Association of Landlords and Propertymark, has had its application for Judicial Review of the Cost of Living (Tenant Protection) Act 2022 accepted and this will be heard in the Court of Session on 4 May 2023.

How Can You Help?
Although the three organisations involved in this case have agreed to seek a judicial review, none have the resources to challenge the Scottish Government alone. Bringing a judicial review is expensive, with the initial review likely to cost more than £60,000 in legal costs and court fees.

We need help to fund the cost of this action and are calling on individuals and businesses working in the private rented sector to offer their financial support as we challenge this legislation.

Your support would be greatly appreciated. Contributions to the crowd funding can be made here.
