Royal Highland Showcase – our week-long series of events

General News

While we’re sad to not be at Ingliston to meet with members face to face for the Royal Highland Show this year, we are pleased to share that we have a wide and varied programme of online events planned between 14 – 18 June.

As part of our Royal Highland Showcase, our series of virtual conversations will provide you with the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of experts from various fields and over numerous topics of interest. Speakers from these events include our own Chief Executive, Sarah-Jane Laing who will be joined by Alan Laidlaw, CEO of the RHASS; NatureScot's Chair Dr Mike Cantlay who will be asked questions by SLE Chairman, Mark Tennant; and Kate Rowell, Chair Quality Meat Scotland and Andrew Moir, Chair of the Arable Sector Climate Group will participate in an event led by our Head of Policy, Stephen Young.

In addition to these, we will also be hosting two drop in sessions with members of our Policy Team. These sessions will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about anything relating to our key areas of work. From land reform to country sports, and from access issues to housing and planning, our Policy Team will be available to discuss the topics that are important to you!
