Scottish Land & Estates appoints new business and finance manager
Press ReleaseRural business organisation Scottish Land & Estates (SLE) has appointed a new business and finance manager to support its growing range of services to members.
Laura Lancastle-Allen joins the organisation with more than 20 years’ experience in finance and business support, primarily in the engineering sector.
Laura will manage all aspects of SLE’s finances and play a key role in the ever-expanding work of the business division.
Laura said: “I am delighted to join the team at Scottish Land & Estates and support their work at this very busy time for the rural sector. It is a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the great diversity of rural businesses managed by members across Scotland and their contribution to the economy.”
Tony Stevenson, director of operations for Scottish Land & Estates, commented: “It’s great to have Laura on board and I would like to wish her a warm welcome. Her extensive experience will stand us in good stead as we further develop the services we provide to members, and continue campaigning on their behalf.”
Laura lives in Midlothian and outside of work her hobbies include walking in the countryside and socialising with family and friends.
