Gavin Mowat will look at the most recently applied provisions for Community Right to Buy and give an insight into the shape of those still to be implemented.

Kate McLeish will present on agricultural holdings, including the amnesty on tenants’ improvements, rent review and the role of the Tenant Farming Commissioner.

11.30-11.50 – Adapting for a changing climate, Eleanor Kay, Policy Adviser, Agriculture & Forestry, Scottish Land & Estates
Eleanor Kay will provide an update to the Climate Change (Emissions Reduction Bill) and priorities for the updated Climate Change Plan. She will also cover practical action land managers can take to adapt for, and mitigate against, climate change.

Debbie Mackay will provide an update on the rollercoaster that has been the Planning Act (Scotland) 2019 process, what is expected to happen next and how this impacts on the land management community.
