  1. External factors and local factors affecting the availability of finance to farms and estate businesses today. We will look at how the world of funding has changed dramatically since the global financial crash, how lenders need to adhere to different rules and what that means for you.
  2. Existing sources and types of finance. Today there are three principal types of lending and a small selection of businesses providing products to the farm and estate market. Working capital, asset finance and long term or mortgage based funding. Selecting the right provider and the right product is important and we will look at the options.
  3. Cashflow and loan repayment profiles – and what is the relevance to you
  4. A new way of working. Oxbury Bank – the Agricultural Bank – what is so different?
  5. What does the future hold? Commercial and financial Partnerships. Landlord/Tenant relationships. Farmer/ customer relationships. We will look at how progressive businesses are already today developing commercial partnerships underpinned by a sharing of the financial risk.
