Landowners and managers in the North of Scotland will benefit from this workshop highlighting the utility infrastructure developments in this part of the country (the Spittal – Loch Buidhe – Beauly and Beauly – Peterhead powerline routes) and how these developments may impact you.

This event will be led by Terra Magna, who will give a market overview, discuss what to do when approached by a developer, the types of agreements that can be negotiated, compensation and other considerations.

Scottish Woodlands will address the issues for forestry resulting from the development of the renewables market and expansion of the energy grid. This will include wayleaves and implications for peatland restoration sites, with advice and guidance available to anyone affected.

The event is aimed at landowners and managers across the Highlands, Morayshire and into Aberdeenshire.

The event is free to SLE members, but booking is essential through the SLE website.
