Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s North East Members’ Regional Reception which will be held at The Ballroom, Glen Tanar Estate, Aboyne at 1.30pm on Tuesday 29 October, 2024.
The theme of this year’s event is Land Reform - Where is the Land Reform Journey taking us, and how can we be active travellers rather than passive passengers? Hamish Trench, Chief Executive at the Scottish Land Commission will provide an update on the legislation, the work of the SLC and how landowners can play a positive part in the Land Reform agenda.

The Regional Receptions are also your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. We’ll have an organisational and political update from SLE Chairman Dee Ward and our CEO Sarah-Jane Laing; also, a policy update from SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young.
These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
