Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s Highland Members’ Regional Reception which will be held at The Strathdearn, Tomatin, Inverness at 4.30pm on Wednesday 30 October, 2024.
The theme of this year’s event is Private Finance in Nature Restoration. We are delighted to welcome two guest speakers who will discuss an exciting new collaboration aimed at environmental restoration: the partnership between the University of Edinburgh and Strathbran Estate. We will hear from Yvonne Edwards, Forest, Peat and Rural Land Manager with the University of Edinburgh, and Jocelyn Seligman of Strathbran Estate.

The Regional Receptions are also your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. We’ll have an organisational and political update from SLE Chairman Dee Ward and our CEO Sarah-Jane Laing; also, a policy update from SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young.
These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
