Members are warmly invited to join us at this year’s South West Members’ Regional Reception which will be held at Dumfries Baptist Church Centre, Gillbrae Road, Dumfries at 16:00 on Wednesday 4 November, 2026.
The Regional Receptions are your chance to hear all about the work the organisation is undertaking on your behalf at a national and regional level. SLE Chairman, Patrick Colquhoun, and Chief Executive, Sarah-Jane Laing, will present an organisational and political update; and SLE’s Director of Policy, Stephen Young, will run us through the policy updates of the past year. This year's event will also feature an overview of the Relinquishment and Assignation provisions under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 from Leanne Gordon, Partner and Head of Rural, Lindsays Solicitors.
These events provide an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet with SLE Board members and colleagues, your Regional Chairs and fellow SLE members.
We are extremely grateful to Lindsays for their generous sponsorship of this year’s reception.
We hope that you will be able to join us.
